After a great 3rd seminar in Bruges on 7-8-9 September and the great response of the participants, I have decided to organize a new seminar in 2019.
The seminar will be spread over 3 days and will have over 13 hours of training.
The idea would be that we handle a couple of advanced kata and their bunkai.
On Friday September 13th there will be a training for the people purchasing a weekend ticket from 17:00 till 19:00
Saturday September 14th will have 4 sessions:
– 09:00 to 12:00
– 13:00 to 15:00
– 15:30 to 17:00
– 17:30 to 19:00
Sunday September 15th will run from 09:00 to 12:00.
The full weekend pass will cost 75€, a Saturday only pass will cost 50€, a Sunday only pass will cost 35€.
Booking before May 1st, 2019 will cost you only 65€ for the whole seminar
The seminar I am organising is almost fully booked. Only 3 more spaces left on Sunday September 9th.
I am pleased of having about 40 martial artists for each session. Initially there were 50 spots available but for the comfort of everyone I decided to close the bookings early.
I am also planning a tour of Bruges on Saturday for anyone that is interested.
Really looking forward to seeing everyone and sharing ideas on martial arts and self defense.
If you are coming, don’t forget to bring your federation booklet for Iain to sign.
The Fighter’s Guide To Hard-Core Heavy Bag Training
In one session on the heavy bag, you can develop all the attributes you need as a martial artist or fighter: power, form, speed, timing, endurance, and explosiveness. What other training tool can make that claim?
Throughout The Fighter’s Guide to Hard-Core Heavy Bag Training, Wim Demeere and Loren Christensen show you how to master the critical skills needed to survive a fight. From these acclaimed martial artists, you will get solid information on how to:
- Choose the right heavy bag for your needs.
- How best to hang it.
- How to care for it so it lasts for years.
- And more.
But that’s not all! You will also learn:
- The five types of impact.
- How to make the best use of them for specific situations.
- Innovative drills to maximize your fitness level and fighting ability.
- Creative ways to grapple a heavy bag, including chokes, takedowns, and armbars.
- How to avoid the most common mistakes in heavy bag training. T
This information works perfectly for combat athletes who train for Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai or Kickboxing. It can be applied just as much to traditional martial arts such as Karate, Kung Fu, Taekwondo or even Pentjak Silat and Arnis or Kali.
I would like this site to become the reference for all martial arts seminars in Belgium. The idea is to be the 1-stop-shop for all martial artists regardless of style or federation.
Don’t hesistate to contact me if you would like to post a seminar on the site. I can then work with you to set up the seminar so you can start spreading the news.
Enjoy your visit.
